Fiona Cunningham

Fiona Cunningham is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania. She studies technology and conflict in East Asia. Her research focuses on how countries leverage nuclear, space, cyber, and missile technology for coercion.
She completed her Ph.D. at the Political Science Department at MIT in 2018 and has since held fellowships at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Stanford University, Harvard University and Renmin University of China.
